Guide to Moss Dungeons with private runs, combat rooms, puzzles, checkpoints, lives, difficulty choices, loot, and boss encounters.

Java & Bedrock play.mosssmp.net Bedrock port 19132

Moss Dungeons are private, room-based adventures for solo players and parties. A run can contain combat waves, puzzles, checkpoints, lives, difficulty choices, loot chests, and boss encounters.

Starting a run

Use:

/mdungeons run

Choose a dungeon and difficulty from the menu. Solo players enter alone. When party play is available, the party leader starts the run for eligible nearby party members.

After a short countdown, the group is moved into a private dungeon instance. When the run ends, players are returned to their previous location after the reward window.

Room progression

Each room can have one or more objectives:

  • Defeat a required number of enemies.
  • Clear an entire enemy wave.
  • Solve a puzzle.
  • Complete mixed combat and puzzle objectives.

Paths and doors remain locked until the required room objectives are complete.

Puzzles

Dungeon puzzles can include memory sequences, light toggles, timing challenges, reaction targets, path building, and tile matching. Interact with the puzzle station in the room to read its instructions.

Practice attempts do not complete the live objective. Follow the prompts carefully before starting the real attempt.

Checkpoints and lives

Checkpoints save progress through the dungeon and may be used as respawn locations. If you become stuck and the command is available, use:

/mdungeons checkpoint

When lives are enabled, dying consumes a life. Running out of lives may remove you from the current run.

Difficulty and rewards

Higher difficulties can increase enemy health and damage while improving rewards. Some special dungeons may require a key, which may be consumed when the run begins.

Loot can come from normal, elite, and boss chests. Wait for the final reward window before leaving a completed run.
