How to Join a Minecraft Server

Learn how to join Moss SMP on Minecraft Java and Bedrock using play.mosssmp.net, supported Java versions, and Bedrock port 19132.

To join the Moss SMP Minecraft server, add play.mosssmp.net to your server list. Java Edition players use that address by itself. Bedrock Edition players use the same address with port 19132.

Moss supports both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition, so friends can join the same Minecraft network from either edition.

Java Edition

  1. Open Minecraft: Java Edition.
  2. Select Multiplayer.
  3. Select Add Server.
  4. Enter Moss as the server name.
  5. Enter play.mosssmp.net as the server address.
  6. Save the server and connect.

Supported Java versions: 1.9 through 1.26.2.

Bedrock Edition

  1. Open Minecraft: Bedrock Edition.
  2. Select Play, then open the Servers tab.
  3. Select Add Server.
  4. Enter play.mosssmp.net as the address.
  5. Enter 19132 as the port.
  6. Save the server and connect.

After you connect, the network lobby lets you choose survival SMP, KitPvP, or dungeons. New survival players can read the first steps guide before selecting a place to build.

Having trouble?

  • Check that the address contains no spaces.
  • Make sure Bedrock players entered port 19132.
  • Try restarting Minecraft and reconnecting.
