By using the Moss SMP website, Minecraft server, Discord community, wiki, live map, store, or related services, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Moss SMP Server Rules. If you do not agree, do not use Moss services.
Minecraft, Discord, and Third-Party Services
Moss SMP is an independent community server. Moss is not an official Minecraft service and is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.
You are responsible for following the terms and rules of Minecraft, Microsoft, Discord, payment providers, vote sites, map services, and any other third-party service you use with Moss.
Accounts and Conduct
- You are responsible for activity under your Minecraft, Microsoft, Discord, and store accounts.
- You must follow the Moss rules, staff instructions, and fair-play expectations.
- Staff may mute, kick, restrict, rollback, suspend, or ban accounts when needed for safety, moderation, fraud prevention, performance, or rule enforcement.
- Do not attempt to bypass punishments, exploit bugs, attack infrastructure, impersonate staff, distribute malware, or abuse support systems.
Store Purchases and Virtual Items
Purchases from the official Moss store are optional and may provide virtual perks, ranks, cosmetics, currency, access, or other in-game benefits. Virtual items do not create ownership of the server, software, data, or Minecraft content.
Store availability, packages, prices, perks, and benefits may change. Purchases may be revoked or adjusted for fraud, chargebacks, abuse, rule violations, server changes, or legal reasons. Refund handling depends on the store provider, payment provider, applicable law, and the circumstances of the purchase.
Content and Community Submissions
You may create or submit builds, chat messages, reports, screenshots, suggestions, bug reports, wiki edits, and other content. You remain responsible for what you submit.
By submitting content to Moss services, you allow Moss staff to use, display, store, copy, moderate, remove, and adapt that content as needed to operate the server, handle reports, maintain the wiki, promote the community, and protect users.
Availability and Changes
Moss services may change, reset, pause, or become unavailable because of updates, maintenance, security issues, hosting problems, map resets, plugin changes, legal issues, or staff decisions. Moss does not guarantee uninterrupted availability or permanent preservation of worlds, items, ranks, stats, economy balances, or gameplay data.
Disclaimers, Limits, and Contact
Moss services are provided as a community game service on an as-available basis. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Moss disclaims warranties and is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages from use of the services.
If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining terms continue to apply. For terms, moderation, privacy, or legal questions, contact Moss staff through discord.mosssmp.net.
